I am confused. The website states that building 3330 will be fumigated on May 31 through June 3, but today, there was a notice on my door that states that the building will be fumigated between May 17 through May 20. That’s a big difference. Could someone confirm for me?
Hey Jennifer. I’m so sorry for the confusion. Your fumigation is confirmed for May 31st through June 3rd, phase 12.
I am in building 3336. The original notice attached to our door said we were getting fumigated from May 31st to June 3rd, but we just received a notice on our door today saying May 17th through May 20th. Which is it?
Hey Jack. I’m so sorry for the confusion. Your fumigation is confirmed for May 31st through June 3rd, phase 12.
Is there a phone number I can call to have a human answer a couple questions?
Hey Virginia. You can call 949-837-6483. If we miss your call, please leave us a message.
Just double checking that you have the lockbox combination on file for unit 116. Thank you
We got it. Thanks Helen!
We haven’t been able to connect with a live person at SDGE to give them the lock box code. The system seems to be 100% automated. Can you please advise on how to pass someone at SDGE the code?
Hey Geoffrey. I’m so sorry you haven’t been able to get through. The number we use to schedule is 1-800-411-7343. It’s still an automated line, but hopefully, it can be more useful to you.
Ozzie,
That’s the number we used. Not sure how to get an actual human being on the line. It’s all automated.
Hi Geoffrey. This is your neighbor from unit 116. The number provided is correct and while automated one of the options does allow one to speak with a live representative. I forget exactly how I managed it, perhaps attempting to schedule a visit but not having the account number resulted in a real live person who offered to take the information. Hope this helps.
Thanks Helen. We’ll try again.
Do i need to bag or remove stuffed dog toys that my dog chews on (and removes and swallows the stuffing) constantly? What about plastic or rubber dog chew toys? Also assume sealed wine bottles are “factory sealed in glass containers” and as such, do not need to be bagged — correct? Finally, please confirm you received the code to the door pad on my front door. Thanks
Hey Ann, you don’t have to bag or remove any toys, whether they’re stuffed, plastic, or rubber. Those items can remain as is. Wine bottles can also stay if the factory seal is still intact. We have your form and your key info on file. You’re all set!
On the topic of providing the lockbox combination to SDGE for allowing them unit access post-fumigation in tenant absence (afternoon of May 13), what is the correct number to call? During the webinar a phone number was provided (800-441-7343). Perhaps I wrote the wrong number as this number is not for SDGE. Thank you
Hey Helen. The number that shows up online is 1 (800) 411-7343.
What amount of bags are we being provided (14 days before fumigation begins)? What is the cost for additional bags?
Hey Justin. To have extra bags delivered it is $60. The latest was can take orders for delivery is one week before your fumigation. To pick up a set at our office, it’s $30. Our office located at 8137 Engineer Rd, San Diego. Please let us know when to expect you if you plan on stopping by.
Hi, I would like to come by this afternoon (after 4pm) to get additional bags. For the $30, do you accept apple pay?
Sorry, each unit is getting 20 individual bags making 10 sets of food storage.
Hi, I am a resident of 3250 Caminito Eastbluff 86. I have changed the home access method from a key under the mat to a key pass access. I talked to one of your agents and advised her of the passcode. To make sure, I also replied to the email from fumigations@accuratetermitecontrol.com to confirm if my request was acknowledged and updated. However, I haven’t received any feedback from the email, fumigations@accuratetermitecontrol.com. Would you please confirm if my changes were accepted? In addition, yesterday I met a guy from SDGE who told me that I don’t need to be home on the return date. All I need to do is advise the Accurate on how to access my home, and I don’t even need to call SDGE to provide the passcode for home access. Is this correct? Should I still call SDG&E to provide them with the passcode for home access?
Hey Jun. We have your updated key information. What SDGE told you is incorrect. I’m not sure where the tech is getting his information from, but someone does have to be home for them to have access, or you can provide a code directly to them. We cannot share codes with them.
I have a stand up jewelry armoir that locks, is that something I would need to schedule to have inspected ahead of time or can I leave that locked.
Hey Lauren. That’s a great question. To give you a better answer, can you send us a picture to fumigations@accuratetermitecontrol.com?
We manage a unit in building 3275 but do not see it on the list above, is that building being skipped?
Hey Carrie. That building was fumigated last year. You can disregard any notices for fumigation.
Hi Ozzie,
We have a lot of blankets and clothing inside those big vacuum ziploc type bags with all the air sucked out of them. Are those fine to leave as is?
Blankets and other items in vacuum-sealed bags are fine to leave as is.
No need to post this if its repetitive but it seems like the gas and water shut off and restoration isn’t something we individually have to schedule, we just have to be present when it’s being turned back on on Monday, is that correct?
Is there a good number to call for SDGE in regards to this project?. I won’t be back till 1:45 and I want to make sure they know how to get in to restore gas if I’m not there
Do we have to be back in the home at noon on Monday when SDG&E is checking or can we arrive later in the afternoon or evening?
Hey Lucia. Yes, SDGE will need someone to let them in so that they can turn your gas back on. If you have a lockbox, you can call them and give them the code, and they will restore your gas while you are away.
We get water delivered in sealed jugs. Do the unopened+sealed jugs need to be bagged?
Hey Tyler. Water can stay as is no matter the container its in or even if it has been opened.
I see our building has a return date of April 22, 2024 at noon. How long prior to that does the fumigation tent get removed?
Hey Missy. Tents will be removed the morning of your return day around 8am. As crews work outside to get the tents put away, inspectors will be doing air quality checks inside of the building. They will be done by noon that day.
Hello, Based on the videos, I’m confirming that you (1) do not need my SDG & E information; that (2) plants can be left in communal space, but 3-5 feet away from the patio; and that (3) I may not enter the the house until 6PM on the date of return..
Thanks!
Hey Maria, you are correct that you do not need to provide any SDGE info. Your plants can be moved to communal areas, as you described. However, your return time is 12 p.m. instead of 6 p.m. The process has improved a bit since we fumigated the other side of your community last year. All you need to do on your return day is to be home to let gas techs in to restore your gas service.
Thank you, Ozzie.
Just another clarification, by “be home” do you mean wait outside my front door or can I actually come inside the house at noon, prior to the arrival of SDG & E?
Also, in order to update information about a new key lock, should I email you directly or change my original submitted form?
I need more bags (10 or 20 if that’s how they come). Please let me know how to pay and how/when I can obtain them.
Vince (3216 Building, Unit 67)
Hey Vince. You can stop by our office located at 8137 Engineer Rd, San Diego 92111. Our office hours are 9am to 4pm Monday through Friday. Please call ahead of time so we know to expect you. 949-837-6483, ask for Michael or Amanda.
How are the crawlspaces and the attic type spaces handled? Do we leave those open and how are they ventilated afterwards?
The attic spaces are all connected across all five units so I would think that they have to be ventilated at each unit in order to not impact other units. Thank you.
Crawlspaces are best to be left ajar. At the very least they should remain unlocked in case a state inspectors feels the need to probe deeper. It’s recommended that everyone leave their attics ajar as well.
Drop dead time to be out of the unit on Friday 5/3?
Hey Wendy. It’s too soon to have an exact drop dead time for your fumigation. Most likely it will be mid morning at the latest. We’ll have a better answer the week of your fumigation.
I’m trying to fill out the form but the available addresses stop at unit *** and I’m unit ***
Hey Lauren. Thanks for point that out. The form has been fixed now to include your unit. When your ready, you can start from scratch to complete your form.
Hi, what are we supposed to do with the roll of plastic that was left at our front door? Thanks.
Hey Abby. The video in the link below will show you how to use those bags for food storage. Please be sure to review the entire video as it also includes instructions that will help you avoid any additional costs.

Someone commented about submitting their SDGE bill? Do we need to do this?
Hey Leslie. You can ignore that step. It has already been taken care of for you.
I live at 3211 Caminito Eastbluff Unit 12, a unit starting fumigation this coming Friday 2nd June.
The tree from the park is touching the roof, which could disturb the process of covering. I will send photos at the phone number we got during our meeting.
These brunches are also over our path to home. Please look at the photos and send gardeners to trim these trees, if required.
Thank you very much!
Reika
Hey Reika. Please email the photos fumigations@accuratetermitecontrol.com. We will share this concern with community management as they would be the ones to send landscapers to perform necessary work.
I would like to know if all windows are to be left open before we evacuate?
or the fumigation is done with the windows closed?
Thanks
Hey Berta. Some windows will be left slight open only a couple of inches to allow for airflow. One window per room is necessary. Sliding glass doors will remain locked.
There is a scheduled 6pm webinar tonight…nothing happens when I click the webinar link. It was very specific that we attend the webinar at 6pm so I am assuming it is more than the 17-minute video link. Does anyone have information? When I emailed Accurate earlier requesting a meeting link, they told me to follow the link to the website instead of giving me the link.
I can’t figure out how to get on the webinar
I HAVE ALSO SUBMITTED SDGE BILL -PLEASE CALL TO CONFIRM RECEIPT

I am so disappointed. No one is ever available when I call and no one has called the number I left to be called back. I need to know if the club house will be done at the same time as the first zone and also how to forward this form other than sending it to management? There is no contact information on the form to call or email. Yes, I am human and hope to make contact with a human to complete this file.
Lou, looking at the diagram it doesn’t look like the club house is going to be fumigated. Perhaps we can all camp out there?
Roof damage is external damage and must be at hoa’s expense.
