do I have to bag up factory sealed packs of emergency food?
Hi Micheal. Yes, emergency meals should be removed or double bagged.
What about factory sealed mouthwash, opened prescription skin creams, plastic containers with aluminum factory sealed top, aluminum/tin coffee cans factory sealed with aluminum tops?
Hey Christine. Hygiene and cosmetic products can remain as is even if opened. That includes mouthwash. Any container with a flexible aluminum seal like coffee cans should be removed or double bagged.
I saw in the documentation that it is asking us to shut off sprinklers. Should we turn off the sprinkler system for the whole property?
Hello, I sent an email to the fumigation@accuratetermitecontrol.com address, that has pictures in it of what I am talking about – but I figured I would ask here as well. I have two plastic containers, factory sealed, of “emergency meals” purchased from Costco – supposed to be in case of a disaster-type of a thing. Do I need to bag those?
Hi Naomi. Those items must be removed from the structure or double bagged.
Got it
Will the fumigation company be providing nylofume bags? And any type of nylofume sheets for protecting upholstery, mattresses, rugs, etc.? If yes, how many?
Hey Diana. Bags will be delivered to your doorstep roughly 14 days ahead of your fumigation. The bags are intended for edible items only. protecting upholstery, mattresses, rugs, etc. will not be necessary.
