NOTE: All keys are left in your unit with the door locked once we clear your unit. Be sure to have access to your unit other than the key you provide to avoid locking yourself out.

Do you need access to the attached Garage?
Hi Hayley. Yes, detached garages must remain accessible for inspection and ventilation.

i have an attached garage directly below my unit, and one garage separated across my unit
Detached garages (no condos above) will not be fumigated and can be used as normal. Attached garages must remain unlocked and accessible.
Hi, i have 2 garages. one directly under my unit, the other one across from the driveway disconnected to my home.
do i need to leave both garages unlocked?

Can we store things in the detached garages across the way or are those getting fumigated as well?
Hey Hayley. Yes, the detached garages can be used any way you need during the fumigation. They are not being fumigated.
Have you already contacted SDGE for turning gas services off or is that something we need to schedule in advance?
Hey Jacob. The appointments with SDGE have already been scheduled for you.
i have packaged scheduled to be delivered to my doorstep during the fumigation period. am i allowed to come and take them at my front door ?
Hey Jillian. We recommend that you divert any deliveries if possible and ask that you exercise extreme caution if you feel the need to approach the building while tented. In our experience, if delivery drivers normally hold packages until tents have been cleared away.
Do you need access to both garages or just the ones that are attached to the building being fumigated?
Hey Jen. We do not need access to the detached garages across the driveway.
I’m currently pregnant. What precautions should I take in this process? Do you conduct air quality checks afterwards to ensure safety?
Hi Jen. First, congrats on the new baby! To put your mind at ease, there’s nothing extra that you have to do. Inspectors do perform proper air quality checks in the building to ensure a full and successful ventilation. You won’t have to do any ventilating of your own.
Can I remotely turn on my alarm system after you have secured the building (Monday evening) and then remotely turn it off early Wednesday morning? (before 6am)?
Hey Marc. That’s fine. You can arm it at 9pm on your vacate day. Please be sure to disarm it at 6am on your return day.
where can i find a list of what items need to be bagged or removed? And who do i speak with to advise our garage code and to hand over the key to our residence?

Thank you for the video. We have a fumigation at Cape La Jolla Gardens soon. I have a couple of questions:
1. I have a mattress in a plastic bag in the garage. It is not permanent plastic, just wrapped from moving. Do I need to do anything with that?
2. Do we leave a garage clicker in the unit or a code somewhere since the garages are not attached?
3. I have a ground floor unit. Does the plastic go around the entire fenced patio or will it be wrapped closer to the walls? Should I move patio furniture closer to the unit or further out by the fence?

Hey Toni. Your mattress in the garage can stay as is. We will need some form of garage access. The best is to leave it manually unlocked, but you can also provide a spare clicker or door code if you prefer. We do anticipate having to cover the patios and balconies. I recommend bringing as much patio furniture in the home as possible, but it’s fine if you can’t. That just helps minimize the chance of those items sustaining damage.

Hi Mihaela. If the garage is not direct access to the living space, we will be needing a clicker or you can leave the garage manually unlocked.
I watched the video, I filled out the form, signed, and submitted it, and I still don’t know where to get the fumigation bags. No one from your office has contacted me to confirm they received the form. Who do I give a key to? Where do I get the bags? Please answer my questions. I live at Cape La Jolla Gardens, 8609 Via Mallorca. Our fumigation begins October 17-19. I would like the bags soon please.

Hi Trudy. Your nylofume bags will be delivered to your doorstep by the end of the weekend, most likely tomorrow. We have received your form on our end. Thanks for confirming. Your key can be turned over directly to the fumigator on fumigation day. Otherwise we will default to the chosen option on your form.
