What about contact lenses? Those are in fluids and only covered by a foil, do I need to take those too

    • Ozzie Camacho

Contact lenses and contact solution are not considered edible. They can remain as is.

  2. Jennifer Chinn

Do we need to bag or remove make up/ lotions/ skin care/soap products?

    • Ozzie Camacho

Hi Jennifer. Make up/ lotions/ skin care/soap can remain as is. There is no need to remove or double bag them. The same goes for any other hygiene/cosmetic products.

  3. Jieun O'Neill

Can I leave my indoor plants in the covered car port during the fumigation?

    • Ozzie Camacho

Hi Jieun. If the carports are not attached to the residential structure, plants can be left in the parking space during the fumigation.

  4. susanna pastell

it was mentioned that all cars in the car port need to be accessible, door unlocked. my car has a dead battery. will there be a need to move my car?

    • Ozzie Camacho

Hey Susanna. The car can stay as is only if the doors and trunk remain unlocked even with a dead battery.

  5. Steve

We have fumigation on Aug 18-20 in the units next to the office. I see from the comments the carports are not tented, but what about the locked storage units facing the street? If so we’d need to leave a separate key?

    • Ozzie Camacho

Hey Steve. If the storages are part of the residential structure, they will be fumigated as well and would have to remain unlocked. However, for us to have a better idea of what you are refering to, it would be helpful if you could email us a photo to fumigations@accuratetermitecontrol.com

      • Nicole

I have the same question as well regarding the storage units. They are a part of the building structure, but on the outside of the actual residence. Did you receive photos from Steve?

        • Ozzie Camacho

Hey Nicole. In your case, the storages would have to be unlocked since they are directly attached to the residential building.

  6. Sam and Eleanor Wade w/ Jan Lundy

    Ozzie,
Thanks for your follow up on the carports NOT being tented.

May you please deliver this content to all the residents in our building and Jonathan DeLaTorre c/o GHA.

In your presentation you made the comment that it was unlikely you would not tent the carports
due to the difficulty of lapping the fumigation tenting over yard fences separating unit patios.

If the patios are not tented as a part of a continuous tent covering the carport
what is the required margin of space your tent and work requires in the patios adjacent the building footprint?

    Electricity:

Will the buildings electric panels or breakers be turned off? If so who will be responsible to restore power?

    Thanks

  7. Sam and Eleanor Wade w/ Jan Lundy

    Ozzy,
    At 7860-7868 Camino Glorita:
Are you tenting the multi story multi unit building and the carport including the patios in-between the two structures?
You were asked in the online meeting; you were not sure.

This impacts what we need to take action on regarding moving and relocating
from our private rear yard patios. I’ve received information from GHA indicating you are NOT tenting the carports.

    Thanks

    • Ozzie Camacho

Hey Sam. Thanks for following up on this. Carports will not be covered. I will remind the fumigators to focus the tents strictly on the residences.

  8. Amit Fadia

    Hi Ozzy
Do you know if all the units have a gas line. Our unit is 7943 Camino Kiosco in Genesse Highlands. Your company will be fumigating our unit on Feb 2nd. I think this unit is all electric.
If there is no gas line, can we enter the unit on Sunday evening Feb 4th? Also if there is no gas line. I am assuming that the gas company will not need to come to turn it on on Monday Feb5th in the afternoon.

    • Ozzie Camacho

Hey Amit. Not all the units have gas from what I was told. Several of the buildings are all electric and I’m guessing your one of them. You can return anytime you’d like if that’s the case.

  9. Sharon Adams

Do you supply the special plastic bags for sealing foods, meds, etc? If not how do we obtain?

    • Ozzie Camacho

HI Sharon. Yes we supply Nylofume bags approximately two weeks before the fumigation. They’ll be dropped off at your doorstep. Further details will be included in our live webinar on the 17th at 6pm.
