Questions to verify :
1. I have a water dispenser connected to a 5 gallons water connected, do I have to disconnect it?
2. I also have several empty 5 gallons water bottles that I used to fetch water, do I need to take them out of the house or double bag it?
3. I have a small triangular shaped pool tarp that I used on our patio to provide shade. Do I need to take it down?
4. How about factory sealed sauces/spices not in glass but plastics? Do these need to be double bagged?
I appreciate your quick response to these questions. Thank you.
Hi Armando.
1. No. Water can stay as is regardless of its container.
2. Same as number one.
3. To give you the best answer, it would help for you to send us pictures to fumigations@accuratetermitecontrol.com
4. Those items would have to be removed or double-bagged. The exception only applies to factory sealed glass containers and factory sealed metal cans.
Hope this helps!
Ozzie,
Thanks for your quick reply, I appreciate it.
I’ll send the pictures of the rectangular shaped pool tarp to keep our patio shaded.
Our building, Glenview will be fumigated on September 22-24, 2026 and I have watched the video. I’m from Unit 5 and we have a gazebo. Do we need to take down the lights around the gazebo and the bulb in our patio and balcony. Also, do we need to bag the kids toys?
Hi Rose. Regarding your gazebo, the best answer we can give will be after you send us a photo so we can get a good idea of what the layout is like. You can email your photos to fumigations@accuratetermitecontrol.com. Kids toys do not need to be removed or double-bagged. The same applies with all non-edible items in the home.
