Ozzie, I’m feeling a scratchy throat and notice a smell especially in the basement hallway.
Is this normal? Do you need to retest the space?
Hi Nicole. I’m sorry to hear that. The fumigators did ensure that all air samples taken were shown as absolute zeroes before releasing the building back to you. I walked each unit yesterday afternoon for peace of mind and to ensure the air quality is as it should be. I can ask the fumigators to send someone out again if you wish, but I’m confident that your discomfort is not caused by the fumigant. But please don’t hesitate to seek medical attention if you feel it’s necessary.
Hello,
I submitted an updated form on 6/6 with lock box code for our key. Is that ok? Or should I submit somewhere else? Also, do we need to unplug all electronics? (Internet, monitors, tv)?
Hey Marissa. That’s fine. If you ever want us to manually update our key info notes, you can email fumigations@accuratetermitecontrol.com. You do not have to unplug anything.
We have several instruments that are hanging up and my husband wants to put them in their cases and put away. Do those cases need to stay open or can they remain closed and put away in the garage.
Hey Jane. That’ll be fine. I recommend to just leave them unlocked. Should there any suspicion of trapped fumigant, we want to be able to ventilate them.
Hi. We moved not too long ago so we have a lot of sealed cardboard boxes and many plastic tubs (with lids) in our garage and spare bedroom. Do you need all of those opened up for review? The garage is packed with boxes. Do you need access to maneuver through the garage and see all of them open?
Hey Song. As long as there is no food or medicine in the boxes, you don’t have to open them up.
I would like to submit a code for the lock box we will be using. Who do I send that to? Thanks
Hey Jane. Please send your code to fumigations@accuratetermitecontrol.com
We have a bed in front of one of the upstairs windows. We are planning to leave the windows open when we leave. Do you need access to the window (do we need to move the bed)?
Hi Shar. If you prefer to leave the window open, please leave an obvious note on the window itself saying “LEAVE WINDOW OPEN”. There shouldn’t be any need to move the bed after that.
I submitted the wrong lockbox code on the form. Please reach out to me for the correct form.
You got it!
I have six sealed and pressurized five-gallon beer kegs, with beer, in a kegerator and a chest freezer. What do I do with them during fumigation?
Hey Evan. Let me reach out to a lead fumigator about this and I’ll follow up with you.
Is it true that Accurate only hires hot guys to put the tents up?
The hottest.
Can I kick it?
Yes you can.
