I got a message from SDG&E saying a member of their team is scheduled to visit my property soon. Is the 12:00-6:00 time frame still accurate or do I need to be there earlier?
Hi Tammy. 12pm to 6pm is still the scheduled time frame unless SDGE has directly notified you otherwise.
Just to confirm, do we need to leave all cabinets, drawers and windows open before we vacate?
It would be helpful if you did, but won’t be a problem if you didn’t. At the very least, they need to be unlocked.
Thanks Ozzie. One more question – what happens to our scheduled fumigation in the event of showers or rainfall?
Hey Natasha. In light conditions, the fumigation will proceed as normal. However, heavy rains or high winds would potentially cause the fumigation to postpone or cancel.
I understand that you will need the key for the fumigation, starting with the Preliminary Inspection. When will that take place and if I have my key in a lockbox at my front door by 8:00 on Day 1 of fumigation is that soon enough, or does it need to be there before fumigation day?
Hey Tammy. Key arrangements will be made when you submit your form, if you haven’t already. The lockbox doesn’t need to be on the door any sooner than 8am on fumigation day. Installing it on your way out is fine.
Perfect. Thank you!
how would one go about getting more of the bags?
We’ll be happy to help you with that. Extra bags can be purchased at our office for a cost of $30. We are located at 8137 Engineer Rd, San Diego. Please just give us a heads up so we know to expect you.
Where do I procure the Nylofume bags?
Hi Miguel. Bags will be delivered to your doorstep two weeks before your fumigation.
Sorry if this is a dumb question but please clarify: Refrig. Food Items that need to be bagged must be removed from the Refrig. or do they stay inside the Frig bagged up…Also if they need to be removed are they removed from the home entirely or placed on a table? Please advise..Thanks.
Hey Troy, it’s not a dumb question at all. Everything in the fridge and freezer must be removed or double-bagged. Any item single bagged or not bagged at all must be removed from the building entirely
Our community main street address is: 185 (180,190) Basilica Street, not Basilica Ct.
Please contact CalWest management if needed.
Thank you!
Thanks for pointing that out. We went off of what the gas company had. It won’t be an issue though.
The buildings have fire alarm rooms and electric meter rooms. Will you be contacting Karen with Mission Point HOA (cal west) to get the keys to lock those?
Thanks for pointing that out. We’ll reach out to her today to make sure we have access to those spaces on fumigation day.
