Two packages were delivered to my door today which I did not expect to arrive yet. They are not consumables, so they should be ok, but I just want to make sure this won’t cause a delay.

    • Ozzie Camacho

Hey Jeanette. Thanks for the heads up. They won’t affect the fumigation.

  2. Jordan

Can you confirm that food that is factory-sealed in a plastic container is ok NOT to be bagged? The video didn’t mention plastic, but the PDF on this site did. Thank you.

    • Ozzie Camacho

Hi Jordan. That is correct only for hard plastic containers such as gatorade. Things like bags of beef jerky or other malleable plastic must be removed or double-bagged in Nylofume bags. Be minful that all medications should be removed or double bagged regardless of their container. This particular set of instructions can quickly get confusing which is why we leave it out of the video. We try to simplify the process for you.

Can you share any information on fumigation timing for the building with 191 Gallery Way? Thanks.

    • Ozzie Camacho

Hey Heather. As of now we don’t know of any other buildings to be tented in your HOA.

      • Heather

Thanks for the info. Appreciate your reply.

Are there plans to fumigate the Shadow Canyon building that includes 191 Gallery Way?

    • Ozzie Camacho

Hey Heather. As of now we don’t know of any other buildings to be tented in your HOA.

What is the best way to provide access instructions for my garage door, if different from my unit access information?

Hello – checking back again because the banner on this page now says vacate in August – are we still on schedule to vacate tomorrow. I am in 221 Gallery Way. We were supposed to get an email today letting us know when the building will be tented – if it is after 8 am. Do you know when that email will arrive? Thank you

    • Ozzie Camacho

Hey Joanna. I apologize for the confusion. Your HOA approved a few other buildings to be fumigated in August which is why the information on the webpage updated to what you see now. Your fumigation is still on for tomorrow. We don’t know what time exactly the fumigators will arrive to your home, but expect it to be anytime during the day as early as 8am. You are welcome to hang out at home until they arrive as long as you are ready to vacate on a moments notice.

      • Joanna Hayes

Ok – thanks for letting me know Ozzie, so we are not going to receive an email as to the time of day that they will arrive? I think that was mentioned in the video??

        • Ozzie Camacho

Hi Joanna. That’s a really good question and thanks for bringing it up. That is typically for when we are doing only one building. However, we are doing five buildings in your HOA tomorrow which is why it becomes more difficult to pinpoint when your building will be tented.

Hi again, regarding the attic access being ajar … my attic opens fine, it isn’t painted shut or anything. How do you want this propped open? I’d rather not keep it open until it is time to fumigate, if possible. thanks

    • Ozzie Camacho

The fumigators will open for you if necessary. Please be aware that in the event of damages resulting from this, we would not be able to send for repairs or extend reimbursements.

  8. Joanna Hayes

Hello! I am in Shadow Canyon HOA in Tustin CA. My unit is 221 Gallery Way, Tustin Ca. What will happen to my refrigerator during fumigation? I plan on having all food out. The fridge is built in, I don’t want cabinet damage if the fridge has to be pulled out and unplugged. If it will remain closed, that is fine.

Also, our air conditioner and heating systems have a switch in the unit to turn them off – is that sufficent?

    Thanks!

    • Ozzie Camacho

Hi Joanna. Your fridge will remain functioning as normal. The fumigators have no need to pull it out or unplug it. Turning your HVAC off directly from the switch is fine.
