NOTE: All keys are left in your unit with the door locked once we clear your unit. Be sure to have access to your unit other than the key you provide to avoid locking yourself out.

Crews have been on site all day today since 7am working on getting the tents secured all the way around the community. They are just about wrapped up and headed out as I type this. The return time has not changed. We are on schedule for Monday at 6PM for all residents to return.

Hey Richard. The wind and rain caused for the installation process to go much slower than normal. Crews had to take an extra day to secure all tents.

Hi Ozzie. I may have to leave the car inside the structure during the fumigation. May Vikane gas be harmful for the car battery?
I’m planning to come back on Tuesday, April 9th, and can’t park the car on the neighborhood streets because of street cleaning on Mondays and Tuesdays.
Hey Elena, Vikane will not affect the battery or any other vehicle components. Please ensure that the vehicle remains unlocked.

Ozzie…exactly what day will the tents be placed over our buildings? Just curious since we have to vacate on Thursday I thought it would be placed on that day removed on Monday?
Thanks for all your help Ozzie. I don’t typically let people into my house with their shoes on. If I leave disposable shoe covers out, will whoever comes into my unit use them?
Hey Deborah, I would even leave a very obvious note with the instructions for how to use them. We always ask the fumigators to use the shoe covers you provide, but we can’t account for what the gas company does.
After inspection of our storage unit will Accurate lock them? It matters to us
Hey Angeline. We will not lock the storage back up. I recommend transferring items into the home during those days. The homes will stay locked.

Hey Deborah. Bottles of alcohol that have the factory seal intact do not need to be double bagged. Otherwise they would have to be removed or bagged up.

Hello,
Question about the storage downstairs. We have a toolbox inside the storage… do we need to leave that unlocked or can you guys come inspect it beforehand so we can lock it up again ?
Also, In regards to our clothes, I probably missed that section in the video but do we need to leave drawers open or closed is fine?

Hey Jonathan. You can leave the toolbox unlocked. If you wish to have an inspector do a quickcheck before you vacate, just let us know what unit you are. Clothes can stay in closets and drawers. Nylofume bags aren’t sold on amazon, but if you find them anywhere else online just be sure they are specifically Nylofume material.

Requesting clarification on USPS delivery. Do we need to put a hold on our mail, or will you do that for the entire building(s)? Thanks!
Hey Susan. We don’t make any arrangements with USPS. Most residents don’t call to have them hold mail. It’s not necessary for you to do so unless you prefer to.
Hi I wanted to know if the for address **** Unit *** the form is filled out, my landlord notified me that he filled one out as I accidentally filled the paperwork out for the wrong address.

Water bottles that are sealed but out of the original plastic wrapper they come in, ex 24 pk comes wrapped we have open cases…the water bottles not in the sealed wrapper can stay without going in a plastic bag? or do they need to be in the bag? Same for juices…sealed in the bag? This is not easy to understand and very frustrating. I did the meeting…we are stuck
Hey Angeline. If I understand correctly, individual factory sealed bottles are okay to leave out. Even if they were a part of a bulk package.
My wife has a compromised immune system I was wondering if on the day we come back should I turn the a/c fan on to clear any trapped gas from our ducts should there be any smell or I detect it. She will not be coming home until the following day.

Hey Phoebe. 1) you can leave your key in a lockbox at the door and give us the code. 2) you can give us an electronic door code. 3) you can leave a spare key under the mat.
I provided my door code but I need to provide further instructions on how to enter the code. Where can I provide this instruction?

I have a few cans of newly unopened peanut butter in plastic containers. Do I have to remove them from the house or place them in the plastic bags? Thank you
Hey Michael. Unopened peanut butter should be okay to leave out as long as it’s in factory condition.
I watched the Webinar video last night excellent job Ozzie, but I’m in a grey area. Unopened plastic bottles of apple juice and cokes…are they ok to stay in the pantry or do they need to be bagged or taken with me. You really did an excellent job thank you
Hey Angie. Thanks so much for your kind words and for joining us during the meeting. If the plastic bottles of apple juice have never been opened and are in factory condition, you can leave them out. The same goes for cokes.

Hey Teri. The gas company will also take care of turning your pilot lights back on if all your gas lines look to be in order.
