    Hi,

We received the notification that we’ll be delayed returning on Monday. Are we allowed to stay home until they begin work on our home?

    Thanks,

    Hi,

I have a couple of questions:

    1. We have a child that mouths and puts toys in her mouth. Would we need to bag those items?
    2. We have empty tupperware, silverware, utensils, etc. Do we need to clean those items when we get back?

    Reply
    • Ozzie Camacho

Hey Youchan. You do need to bag baby toys. You also don’t need to clean tupperware, silverware, utensils, etc.

For an under-the-sink filtration system, should it be removed from the home? Emptied and then refilled after tenting? Just filters?

Does the water in the water heater (located indoors in basement) retain any of the chemical used?

    Reply
    • Ozzie Camacho

Filtration systems can stay as is. There is no need to wash them afterwards. Water does not retain any of the fumigant.

9/8/24: Question: We are getting prepared. If necessary, how do we get more bags and how much do they cost? If there are some left overs, are they returnable? Wherer do we go to pick them up?

    Thank you.

Hey Sharon. Extra bags can be purchased at our office located at 13865 Alton Pkwy #110, Irvine. The cost of each bundle is $30. If you have any left over we encourage to share them with your neighbors. We cannot take them back.

Ozzie…Before I start moving all my outdoor.furniture, umbrellas and large potted plants; I would like to know where they should be placed on our back terrace.

Could someone stop by and quickly show me where they should be placed to avoid being tented.

Please call first so I’m home 949 *****
Thank you as it’s a lot to be moved.

Hey Joanne. We can certainly ask the fumigators to take a look next time they are on site. Hopefully, they are able to accommodate. In the meantime, please send some photos to fumigations@accuratetermitecontrol.com so we can get a good idea of what your patios look like. We might even be able to get you an answer over email.

    Hello,
When will you be distributing the bags? If I heard it correctly, it was mentioned that it would be about 10 days prior to when we are supposed to vacate. Correct? We are at 28 Rainbow Falls, or phase 6

We have been waiting for the last 15 minutes for our advertized live webinar to start (Wed Aug 28, 6 PM). We find the lack of this information session to be very unprofessional and it also gives us concern about the competency and reliability of the people we are supposed to allow access into our home.

    Some more questions:

    1) We purchased a lock box. Am I supposed to text you the combination? How do I change my consent form to note this change without having to create a new one?
    2) We are not going to be back by noon on the 9th. We will be back by 6:00 as originally planned. We’d like to allow the Gas Company to use the key in the lock box to access the house. Who to we contact at the Gas Company? How do we ensure that your team will put the key back in the lock box not leave it in the house?
    4) Is is possible to get our bags earlier?
    3) Do k-cups (coffee), bottled water and soda, toothpaste, need to be bagged?

    Thank you.

    Reply
    • Ozzie Camacho

Hi Diane. You can mail your box code to fumigations@accuratetermitecontrol.com. Please call SoCal gas directly to give them your lockbox code and they will restore your meter in your absence. To receive your bags earlier, please email us at the same email given and include your address. K-cups need to be double bagged or removed as well as soda containers that have been opened. Tooth part can stay as is.

We ended up getting a lockbox for our house key, instead of placing it under the mat as our form states. Our tenting begins Friday – what’s the best way to update this change and get lockbox code to you?

Hello, I have the following questions:
    1. Is the electricity to the house will be shut off or only gas? if the answer is yes, do we need to remove all food in the fridge and freezer and fridge. In your video, you show the perishable food from the fridge emptied and stored and bagged in the supplied bags but obviously you can’t leave these bags in the house. Please advise
    2. do cars need to be removed from the garage?
    3. when can the door keys be handed to your agent instead of leaving it? Will they come by the day before we are supposed to vacate?

    Reply
    • Ozzie Camacho

Hi Saeed. Electricity will remain on. All the food in the fridge anmd freezer must be removed or double bagged as described in the instructional webinar in the link above. Once you have double bagged your food, you can put it back in the fridge and freezer. Cars can stay in the garage only if they remain unlocked. Keys can be collected on fumigation day upon crew arrival which will be anytime between 8am and 12pm.

Thanks for the clarification Ozzie. I can leave the door to the car unlocked and the keys left in the car. I need further clarification on handing the key, if the crew arrives on the day we are supposed to vacate the house by 8 am, can we stay in the house until the crew arrives so we can hand the key to them? That would be a better option for us than leaving the keys at the house.

Thanks, Saeed. The crew may show up as early as 8 a.m. but could also be as late as mid-afternoon. You are welcome to stay home until they arrive and hand your key in personally.

We just got an email that our tenting date is August 9th. That is NOT correct. We are on the 16th! Please confirm that we are on the same page with the dates so we don’t have to worry about a crew showing up a week early. Thank you.

I need to know if My patio will be tented. I want to submit a photograph like the webinar mentioned, but I see no way to attach a file or photo to this “Submit Comment” form.
I have 50 or 60 potted plants in my back yard/patio, and I will find a place to store them if the tent will stretch over the patio to include all the fencing. That’s a lot of work, so I need to know.

    Hello,

We missed the webinar on July 17th and have a few questions.
#1. Our lockbox is in the shipping so I don’t have it available yet which made the form not submittable. Can we submit the form later this week July 26th?
#2. How many entries do your workers enter the house in different days?
#3. Do you return the key to the lockbox on the first day?
#4. When do you leave the key in the house counter, the first day or the last day?
#5. Do you lock the door behind after you leave the key in the house counter?

    • Ozzie Camacho

Hey Abby. Sorry we missed you. The meeting was recorded and we posted the link to the website. I’ve included it below for your convenience. You can submit the form even with a temporary code and than email us the updated code. The address is fumigations@accuratetermitecontrol.com. There is a minimum of two safety inspections in each unit. Once on vacate day, once on return day. Keys will be left inside the resident provided lockbox during the fumigation as well as at the end of the fumigation. Doors will be locked between inspections and after the fumigation.

    Questions:

    1) where are we supposed to put the dry food once it’s bagged?

    2) can we leave bagged frozen food in the freezer and bagged cold food in refrigerator?

    3) are workers going to close windows that we’re supposed to leave open?

    4) can we leave a car on the driveway?

    5) do we have to unlock storage container in our back yard?

    Reply
    • Ozzie Camacho

Hey D. Dry foods can go anywhere you prefer after you double bag them. Windows will be closed after the fumigation. You can leave your car in the driveway, but we recommend parking in the street instead. Storage containers must remain unlocked.

If we want to listen to the next webinar, how do we access it. Last night I clicked on the Live Webinar button.
