How would you like us to seal the plastic bags you gave us for food?

  2. Brenda

    Hi Ozzy,

What about glass bottles of alcohol? Whiskey, vodka and bottles of wine, If they’re still factory sealed do those need to be covered or removed from the home?

    This includes bottles of beer.

    • Ozzie Camacho

Hi Brenda. All of those items can stay if they are factory sealed.

  3. Brenda Garcia

I was wondering about Friday and waiting on the gas company. What is the window and is there anyway we can adjust the times?

    • Ozzie Camacho

Hi Brenda. The expected arrival window for gas company techs is 12pm to 6pm. If you wish to reschedule for a different time you would have to contact the gas company directly to reschedule your appointment.

    Hi,

I have a car parked in my garage which I will not be moving. Do I also need to leave the keys for that? Or just make sure the trunk is open?

    • Ozzie Camacho

Hi Brenda. The trunk needs to just be open with widows down a few inches. I also suggest leaving the keys on the kitchen counter as backup.

  5. Sara

    Hi Ozzie,

We have some big potted plants which are difficult to move. Can we leave them in the balcony?

    • Ozzie Camacho

Hi Sara. That’s fine. However, please be aware that they have a strong likelihood of sustaining damage during the fumigation.

      • Lisa

        Hello,

You recommend removing heavy potted plants from the balcony so they don’t sustain damage. We live on the top floor. Our neighbor said that we can place our potted plants by the water feature. Will they be safe there? It’s approximately 3 ft. From the edge of the overhead balcony.

We also have potted soil without plants. To confirm we DO NOT need to remove from the balcony. Correct?

Regarding windows. Do we leave our windows open?

        • Ozzie Camacho

Hi Lisa. For the potted soil alone is correct. There is no need to move it. For us to better answer your question about the water being being a good place for plants, it would help for you to send us a few photos so that we get a better idea of what it looks like. You can email them to fumigations@accuratetermitecontrol.com

          • Lisa Liffreing

Thank you. I’ll rephrase the question. What is a safe distance for potted plants from the base of an upstairs balcony?

          • Ozzie Camacho

Hi Lisa. If the potted plants remain in the balcony, there is no particular distance from the building perimeter they can remain. The entire balcony will also be covered in the tents.

  6. Lauren Buckles

    Hi Ozzie,
I have a 20 gallon aquarium. I was planning on taking the fish out and leaving the tank. Draining most of it and wraping the tank in the bags. Will this be okay?

    • Ozzie Camacho

Hi Lauren. Thanks for pointing that out. Taking the fish out will be more than enough. You don’t have to drain it and you also don’t have to wrap the tank in bags. Water remains unaffected by a fumigation.

  7. Lisa Liffreing

Our garages are separate from our unit. No direct access. Do we provide the keypad code? It so, how?

    • Ozzie Camacho

Hi Lisa. Thanks for pointing that out. Yes, we will need either an electronic access code or you can leave the garage door unlocked on fumigation day. You can email your code to fumigations@accuratetermitecontrol.com

      • Lisa Liffreing

Thank you! Do we leave the windows open in our condo?

        • Ozzie Camacho

Hi Lisa. At least one window per room must be open a minimum of 3 inches. The fumigators can do that for you if you prefer.

      • Olivia

Hi Ozzie, regarding the garages, will it suffice to leave the garage door opener on the counter? We don’t have an electronic code for ours. Thanks.

        • Ozzie Camacho

Hi Olivia. Yes, leaving the clicker on the kitchen counter is fine.

    • Lisa Liffreing

Regarding the garages. Are you leaving the garage doors open during fumigation or slightly opened?

      • Ozzie Camacho

Hi Lisa. Garages will be left open a couple of inches only.

  8. Christina Batistella

When are the townhall meeting dates??

  9. Betsy

Where can I find the meeting dates and times?

  10. Eric Arnell

The video discussed safes. I have multi document safes that need to be opened for your crew. what is the process.

    • Ozzie Camacho

Hi Eric. Thanks for pointing that out. Please reach out to us via email with your full address. We will walk you through the inspection process. fumigations@accuratetermitecontrol.com.

      • Eric Arnell

        Hello Ozzie,
I am at 20321 Tidepool Circle #104. Also, I have multiple tool boxes in house and in the garage, do they have to be opened. Also, the video indicated that the night prior your company will reach out and give a more accurate 1st day crew arrival time for my unit. Please confirm, thank you for your time and assistance.

        • Ozzie Camacho

Hi Eric. The toolbox must at the very least remain unlocked, but they don’t have to remain in the open position. Our office will send an email out to you with a time window of the crews arrival for fumigation day.

  11. Kelly Kendrick

We have a metal screen door on our unit. We plan on leaving the key to the main front door under the mat. Do we need to leave the screen door key as well, even if we leave it unlocked?

    • Ozzie Camacho

Hi Kelly. You don’t have to give a key for the screen door if it’s going to remain unlocked. However, was want to be sure you’ll have a key for it when you return becuase crews will likely lock it from inside and close the door behind them to secure the home once the fumigation is over.
