  Yes. If the factory seal has been broken, the items must be removed or double bagged.

Do we have to take all our clothes out closet and dresser. Will our clothes be damaged from this spray?

  Water can stay as is regardless of its container or if it has been opened.

Hi! Do we need to contact the gas company to have them turn off the gas for the 4 days or do we just make sure all the appliances are off before we leave? Thank you!

    I also wanted to ask if chemicals will be sprayed inside the units? I have bad asthma and I’m nervous about the after effects for when we are able to come home after the fumigation. Should we cover household furniture in plastic before you all come? Like the couches, beds, etc?

      No chemicals will be used that would leave any sort of residual. We are usually strictly a gas that is non binding and will leave nothing behind. Your home will be just as clean as the day you leave. We don’t recommend covering any furniture or plants with plastic as it will likely trap gas.

        Can planters/storage units remain touching the outside of our building (on the top floor balcony), or do they need to be moved 18 inches away?

        Hi Liz. The best answer would come from us seeing exactly what you are referring to by emailing us a photo to fumigaitons@accuratetermitecontrol.com. However, we recommend that you move away anything that you can to be safe.

I am a commercial business tenant on the first floor. I can’t leave my key “under the mat” since my front door is not secured and open to the public street. However my landlord should have a spare key.

I don’t have food other than some ramen soups in sealed bowls. Will I need to leave my mini fridge open? I am a tattoo studio. What about all my products and supplies that I use on clients? Can those be left behind?

  Hi Cynthia. Thanks for pointing that out. The ramen soup would have to be removed or double bagged. As far as getting a key, we recommend that the landlord intall a lockbox on the door to secure the spare key. The mini fridge can stay closed as long as any food inside is removed or double bagged. Tattoo supplies can stay as is.
